MY ROLE:
As Head of Graphics for the CU Men’s Lacrosse team, I led a small team of designers and oversaw all visual content creation. I designed and developed templates for gameday, game week, and score updates, while also producing various informational graphics. My responsibilities included maintaining design consistency, providing creative direction to the team, and ensuring timely delivery of content.
THE GOAL:
The primary objective was to establish a strong and cohesive visual identity for the team’s social media and digital platforms. I worked closely with the team’s media coordinator, responded to feedback, and ensured that all design work aligned with the team’s evolving brand image and tone.
My Design Direction:
For the 2025 season, I introduced a grunge inspired visual style by adding texture and intensity to the graphics to reflect the team’s energy and competitive spirit. While pushing the design language in a bold direction, I made sure it remained clean, legible, and consistent across all platforms.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
These graphics were originally designed by Piper Eivins, one of the designers I oversee on the team. While Piper created the initial layout featuring all five captains in a single image, I worked closely with her to adapt the design into individual posts for each player, based on a request from our team manager. I also helped refine the color palette and texture to better align with the manager’s vision and ensure the overall quality met our team’s visual standards.
