The Azurite Stool was inspired by the deep blue crystal azurite, which is said to spark creativity and clear the mind. I wanted to design something that felt calm and intentionally simple but flexible. I love stools because they can double as side tables, which makes them functional, especially in small spaces. As a college student, I really appreciate how easy it is to move and store a piece like this in tight living situations. That dual purpose was a big part of my concept from the start.

The stool is made from solid wood and joined using dowels and dominos. The top is hand-woven with paracord. I added a shelf underneath so it works as a table too, without losing its use as a stool.
